Barak is my brother! Does it count as cheating? No, I think not! Barak is as amazing, if not more amazing than many of the other people that I’ve met, and will meet. Barak has his undergrad from Harvard, a double Masters from Stanford, and then he gave up a huge salary career in consulting, then marketing, in order to go into the education and non-profit. He is generous, super intelligent, very cultured and polite (I am a total uncouth pig compared to Barak), an amazing dresser, and has always given me great advice… heck.. I can even remember some old memories of mine, and stories my folks told me, of how he used to protect me when we were tiny tiny kids. If we weren’t related, I don’t know that I would have the honor of knowing such an amazing individual.

Barak actually introduced me to many people here in San Fransisco on my previous visits. He’s introduced me to Duane Cramer- a well published photographer that’s helped me refocus some of the direction I’m taking towards publication. He also gave me my 1st Medium Format Camera shoot.

Barak is such a social butterfly – he has dinner parties, and has viewings of various shows with his friends. I sometimes crave his life– having such a large group of friends… with such regular interaction… so many cool trips (Kayaking, bicycling, skiing, camping, hot-springs, etc…), and SUCH devotion.
This time– despite my extreme efforts to keep working on the site, he managed to get me hooked on a Sci-Fi show called 4400. It’s REALLY well executed, and I watched all of Season 1, and am in Season 2 as I write this. It all started with 1 episode from Season two that we watched with some of his friends.
