While the radio was talking about 2-3 hour wait, my voting time was 15 minutes (including the drive)… ok.. 20 minutes.  It was painless, and I didn’t have to cheat off the person next to me.  I also got a free tall coffee from Starbucks.  I am pissed off though that we get no recipt of how we voted.  Just makes it that much more obvious about how little your vote really counts, and how manipulatable the system is.

There are so many reports of those voting machines being easily hackable… there’s no recipt for a recount.  Oh well…  At least I know that I voted.  I hope you did too (even if you did vote for McRage & Satan)- it’s one of your most important rights as a US citizen (took me 14 years to get my citizenship).
