The other day I could not make it to 11 jumps in a row…. that was after running 7 miles though. Dad was able to do 50, then stopped…. so… today I tried again, using the technique that Dad used, and I was able to not only break 10… but I hit 38 in one jump session… with numerous other attempts ranging from 20-35. I jump roped over 200 jumps today. My goal— to be able to jump rope for 10 minutes straight, each day. A client of mine had told me that long ago (1999), in order to get a 6-pack… After seeing “300″ I thought I’d give it a try. I already had the jump rope, I was just never very good at it– and now I have a much more persistent attitude towards life and challenges. 38 at once today (after an hour and a half of running at the gym)…. going to break 50 tomorrow.
