I just spoke to a friend who used to work there, but now works at a nother facility-- Gold's pays 8% of some sales, 20% of some (usually the 8%)-- the gym where he works now pays 70% initial signup commission, and gives an amazing base salary, and benefits. I have a feeling I may start interviewing Ex-Gold's employees, about how much better each place is. A little bit of SEO magic, and voila-- the entire 1st page of Google will be people talking crap about Gold's :) Technically, it's not just a vendetta, but a public service announcement-- would you want your kid working where he/she gets no benefits, and makes meager money? Or would you rather them get a gig where they have growth opportunity, and can make a liiving? Apparently, Gold's even pays crappy. They billed me for 7 months, after my contract was up. I don't know where they get the balls to bill you after your contract is up. There is nothing in the contract that says they will do this.
