Arrival at Albuquerque.

After Tombstone, I drove to Albuquerque. It was a beautiful drive until it got dark. It was still pleasant driving except for this one stretch of road that was under serious construction. When I got to the right address, Erika (Couch 22) was not home yet from Colorado, and did not get her phone. I was a tiny bit apprehensive about knocking, but I saw the flickering light that meant television. The door was answered by a thin gentleman that looked a bit surprised to have a stranger knocking that late at night. I asked if this was where Erika lived, and he said that it was. I proceeded to say that I’m supposed to Erika’s guest tonight, and he’s like “The CouchSurfer, right?” So… I was known. Jason said that I come in and watch the Oscars with them. Their other roommate, Tessa was also watching with us.

Erika called me shortly after, and I said “Your roomate’s a prick! He called the cops on me, and I need you to come bail me out!” Obviously, I was kidding, but Jason did receive a call to confirm that no one had the cops called on them.

After the Oscars, we watched a few other shows, and then called it a night.
