I’ve broke 200 pounds! :)

If anyone remembers my Road-Cappuccino-caused fatness story (basically, I drank them at every gas station, and when it got cold I stopped exercising, and then got to my fattest, and my dad even made fun of me and called me fat), I had gotten to 215 pounds without exercising, and even had one of those “They must have changed the way they measure clothes and label them, ’cause I know I’m a size 32!” moments! Yeah… it’s embarrassing (not the buying size 34… just not being able to admit that “Life grows on”)… so… I took matters into my own hands, and have been exercising all of 2008. As of yesterdayI weigh 198! I went from 215 to 198! Granted, I’m not done, and it’s not just about weight. Fitness is about endurance, stamina, percent body fat, etc… but I certainly do have more energy, and I feel great! I might even be spending too much time in front of the mirror! At this rate, I will get a 6-pack soon. I know it’s a lame goal, but I’ve always wanted one. In middle school I was kind of pudgy, and was embarrassed to change for gym class, often staying a little late after everyone else, so I could change.

The no-sleeping diet. This should be my 1st article for Independent Lady Magazine :p - When I stay awake for longer than 24 hours, I lose all apetite, and fill up after 1 4oz serving of yogurt. Wednesday night I had not slept at all. Yesterday I was getting tired in the morning, but I got a whole new boost of energy because I was going to interview Ty, the 34th official Ringmaster for Ringling Brothers & Barnum Bailey.  However, this article is not about him.  That’s another one :)  I was  really excited about this photoshoot, and he’s quite an inspiring person.  I left the house in a hurry, and grabbed a granola bar.  I didn’t even finish it throughout the day.  So, basically I ate a yogurt, and 80% of a granola bar throughout the day.  I also ate a small omelette because Angela brought me one. I didn’t even feel hungry. Of course, by 6:45pm I had gone to sleep.  Woke up at 1:30am, very awake, alert, and ready to hit the gym at 3am.

Today I went at 2pm, and broke 1140 calories on the elipticals!  I did it at level 12! I think I’m either doing it wrong, or the machine’s broken… same with the bench I do my crunches on.  I just don’t feel exhausted, or fatigued, or as challenged by doing these exercises.  Hopefully it’s just my body adjusting and developing.

Well…. hopefully, I get down to my 6-pack.  At this rate, I really feel I will.  I feel great lately.  A lot of it is watching what I eat, and what I had great results with in the past was Nutrisystem.  I don’t think it was their chalky food, so much as learning to reduce my quantities and eat all food groups in each meal… veggies, carbs, proteins, olive oil, etc… snack often.  I’m using Hydroxicut as well.  The new version “Hardcore” contains 3 forms of Yohimbee Bark.  Yohimbee is an African root that helps dissolve fat in those “hard to reach” areas (for men the love handles, for women the thighs and glutes).  It’s also known to spice up the love-life some.

A possible aspect of the diet is how much time I spend in front of the computer… so again, I forget to eat sometimes.  Speaking of which, it’s time to eat, and then back to the computer.
