When I was hanging out at Couch 42, this gorgeous model, Vibes Naella, had contacted me to see if I’d like to work with her. I liked her portfolio, so said “yeah sure” and she came over to Couch 42’s place. Krista did the makeup for me, and I set up the lighting, did the shot, and of course the photoshop.

Love this image and yet I am going to tell you the 1st things i noticed.
OK Ori tell your ego to take a nap for the rest of this post
truly I love the look of the robot bans on her neck that show the inside im just not convinced with the transition. It is to harsh.
Also the panel that is open on her left arm is also not convining. Maybe insead of a 2 part panel just one that opens up to one side or not but for sure diffrent shading.
Last thing, she does not look like she is really sitting there. Her arms can be stiff and kinda floating (does not need a shadow or anything to rest on) but her butt should have some type of shadow even if it is light.

Man, you should just stick to photography. I like your pictures but photoshop is not your strength, this picture looks super amateur and fake.

I happen to like the photo- both the Photograph and the Photoshop version. I’ve had wonderful response on it from numerous people on all the photography sites, and most importantly, I think it’s one of my better pieces. However, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I will definitely keep on Photoshopping, as it is a strength of mine. It’s what people pay to see me teach. I will post more normal photos though- there’s something for everyone. I miss my ori…..but I did pop a few shots of Vibes myself. Trying to get them to her. I love Ori’s work, both out of the camera and his edits. As for advising him to sticking to anything, My biggest suggestion is to show him what makes you qualified to critique anything or anyone else.
So, if anyone wants to see as well another version of Vibes, who is awesome and if I ever have time I want to REALLY shoot (I handed the reigns over to Ori on this one….)I clicked about 25 pics…and edited 3…2 are posted or will be reposted soon, on one of my many sites, and at least 1 is popular by several peoples responses….But, all I can say is….Ori made me a mermaid and that edit gets more comments than any on my port.
