Oops! I forgot to lock my front door! In fact… I didn’t even close it all the way. I was expecting Skiz & company to show up after they got done at Tongue & Groove. So, I decided to take a nap around 1am — set my alarm for 3am, texted Skizzy the address, and went to my balcony for a comfortable sleep in the cool night air. I (to steal Motel 6’s slogan) “Left a light on” in front of the place, and in the foyer. When I awoke (at 7am), I realized that the door had swung open in the night… I wanted to be at the gym before 8am to go running. I didn’t go until 8:15, because I spent over an hour catching and releasing 9 moths, and a few other critters that snuck in during the night. I suppose I could’ve squashed them all in about 3 minutes, but that’s not very nice. Speaking of nice — remember how I sent Riplee $100 for some gas and antibiotics for his kid? Well.. I called to follow up. I did in fact save the tooth! Codie has kept her tooth, feels amazing again (headaches, stress, and toothache all gone), and it bought enough time for the dentist to do a thorough cleanup, to avoid future contamination. Of course, if you have any 3d or graphic work you need done– Riplee still needs to raise the funds for a root-canal.
