I had a blast tonight…. yes… tonight! I usually blog the next day… but tonight I (skipped out on mood, ’cause I’m a workaholic, and had plenty of tequila at Pure) got in early enough to beat the midnight mark, and blog the same day! Derek was awesome enough to call me and tell me that he’s organizing me a going away party (I’m having to backspace a lot here to fix spelling errors. I did mention the tequila, right?), at Pure– which he’s been telling me about forever, and how it always, even during the week, has a huge line. He was not kidding! There was a huge line! But after an hour or 2 of waiting, the food was great, the margaritas strong, and funny enough, even the table next to us was awesome. I saw these 2 hot girls spooning in the middle of the restaurant! Yes, that is correct, they put spoons on their noses, and walked to each other and hugged. From the energy at the table (and the wrapped up present on the table) you could tell it was someone’s b-day. Since I applauded, they sort of realized that I noticed them “spooning” so MaryBeth had me come over to their table (brought my Margarita with me, of course), and sat on Renee(b-day girl)’s lap, while they tried to affix a spoon to my nose. Maybe it’s the Jewish thing, but my nose was not working with this spoon. So… after a while I went back to my table, chatted with my friends, and had a blast. But then something felt missing… Maybe it was just too loud there– Denise and Renee had passed their cards to my table, to me… and I had texted Renee as to “Where’s the after party?” which was pretty amusing, ’cause by the time she got that text… I was already at their table, and she’s like “Where’s 305?” me: “I think it’s Miami… let’s see….” and I pick my card up off their table… *surprise* it’s the same # as on my card. The funny thing is that I just bought a place, and she’s a realtor. David worked really hard and did a kick-ass job. Chris did a great job and found me my place… Renee– looks damn good on her b-day, and I had a blast hanging out with her and her friends. Ori:
I’ve really enjoyed having you as a guest in my home, and the many good times that we’ve had starting out with that infamous first meet at SideLounge!! The Good Vibes Boogie was amazing, and you were a big part of that.
You have touched alot of lives in a very postive way over the last 6 weeks and you have inspired me in many ways. I consider you a dear friend, hopefully one that I will have my entire life. Watching you ‘work the crowd’ last night at PURE was too cool, I believe you could have fun in an insurance seminar!!!
Thanks so much for your wonderful pictures, especially of Zach at his karate class. My whole family really enjoyed them!
I’ll miss you alot and look forward to seeing you in the middle of next month when you close on your new home.
Take care and be safe, and always bask in the sunshine of the Spirit…

Ori! Hey baby! What’s up? Did you find a couch to crash on? It wasn’t Renee’s, was it?
I had a blast at Pure last night. I feel so special….immortalized now that I was mentioned in your blog. Check out my Web site: http://www.myspace.com/deniserh
You may like some of my poetry and photos. They aren’t as artistically done as yours, but they work.

Hi Ori,
Thanks for the great comments about last night!! Glad you kept the after party a secret…
I had a blast hanging with my girlfriends for my birthday and having you join us too. Hope you are enjoying your new adventure. When you get back we will have to do the Pure thing again. Next time we will get the “spooning” thing down.
Til next time…
Renee (the Realtor-type)
Yes, Ori, I did read it.
We all had a great time as well and are still talking about you. Thanks for helping to make my birthday a blast. Can’t wait til you are back in the area. Don’t hesitate to call the next time you are in town. We will have to go back to Pure and spoon somemore!!!
Smiles,
