I had a blast today at Armand Morrin’s Big Seminar 9. This is the largest internet marketing seminar around. It cost me a pretty penny, but well worth it. Armand is a friggin genius. As far as I’m concerned, I already got my money’s worth. I networked, got some great contacts, handed out a bunch of cards, and got my photo taken with a few industry leaders. But.. you know me… it’s all about the quirky, and often-funny stories. So… let’s start with one of the speakers is talking about the 3 traits of ALL successful business people ever. The 3rd one was called “The ‘E’ Factor” - speaker asks what that stands for… correct answer = Energy / Enthusiasm / Exhuberence… however, no one was yelling out the correct answer… or any answer for that case. So… in this quiet room, I blurt out (very loudly for all to hear) Extacy! That got a couple of laughs - other funny’ish story… I nearly pissed myself today! Yes.. I know that sounds a bit hick-ish or whatever… but damn.. I had A LOT of caffeine today to make sure I stay focused. Caffeine pills, coffee, coke (the drink, ya freaks!), and of course waster and juice…. I really had to go! I held it for the duration of the last presentation, but got permission from one of the seminar people to surf their hotel-couch…. so… Rozana is couch 31. That saved me $139/night + $15/day parking more importantly, it saves me the driving time, and lets me network longer. As a matter of fact, I was hanging out with a lot of the people who ARE the biz. It was quite amusing… we weren’t talking marketing, so much as funny and extreme stories we have. I..e my last trip to FL, my car accident, border patrol, and much much more… they were getting the uncensored version, and had many awesome stories to tell me. I had a blast, made some great new friends, and great new contacts.
