You’d never believe it, but I was a brat growing up! Heck… I still am! But now I’m a nice person… a lot more compassionate and caring of others’ feelings, very helpful, and a much better listener. I’m sure that no parent wants to hear that their 30 year old kid, rather than establishing a family, and a career with a firm (although these days, the stats are that there is no more “career”.. but rather 15-30 in a lifetime), is going to be traveling the country, sleeping on strangers’ couches, and having lots of crazy adventures that make most people poop their depends! Yup! I’m every parents’ dream I’ve been an inspiration to people… following my dreams, living my life to the fullest, and having fun instead of being miserable at a job I hate. So… Mom and Dad (Day Traders) got a new phone. I know they can receive texts. So… I’ve been sending them “This is your daily reminder that I love you” “It’s another day… I still love you… more than yesterday.. less than tomorrow.” texts. My phone rings shortly after, and it’s Mom n Dad (surprise!) and they sound soooooo happy! Spend the 2 seconds it takes, and make someone happy with a surprising text.
