Violet Crumble… they arrived by UPS for Andrew, Couch 28’s Roommate. I brought the package in, and later Andrew told me the story of how his ex who was from South Africa, and lives now in Australia sent him those as a gift. I feel very special that he would share them with me! He even said to help myself to more of them. What a nice fellow. I certainly think it is blog-worthy, as a)it’s delicious (although my stomach now hurts, as I have a stomach virus, and this is about all I ate today), and b)I think it’s very nice that someone would share something rare, and that they received from another continent, c)It’s a bit different… this chocolate Shatters when you chew on it… “It’s the way it shatters that matters!” is their catch phrase.
