Mr. Viscuso took his sweet ol’ time making breakfast, then getting ready. I can’t complain though because breakfast was quite yummy. I just wanted to do the interview, and get out of South Florida (again) all ready! I interviewed him, and it went fairly well. He kept being interrupted by the telephone. The annoying thing was that he stayed on the phone for the whole conversation each time, instead of saying he’ll call them back. The same thing happened when I tried to take photos of him.
His piano playing was amazing though! He is self-taught, and the son of a jazz pianist. He composes classical music, and is quite masterful at playing it.
I visited Damion & Gretchen on my way back to I75. I can’t believe Calvin Cool died. He was their cat. Me and that cat were buddies. It’s really sad, ’cause it happened right around the holidays, and they spent a ton of money to save the cat’s life. Damion is such a light-hearted, upbeat character. I love being around him. He was going through his phone book to see if there’s anyone else I should visit on my trip. He gave me a few cool people- we’ll see what happens.
I got on the road at 2pm or so, and drove to visit Delilah & family. I met them at a gas station in Bradenton. We hung out, chatted, watched the Lady Of The Water — another retarded M. Schamalot picture - and Idlewild.. which I was either too tired, or too white to understand. Sort of fell asleep during Idlewild. .
